Join us as SteeleHorse - The Legacy of Bon Jovi celebrates one of their band mates this week. Without those low frequency, rolling & rumbling bass lines, Bon Jovi business just wouldn’t get done! So help us give a BIG shout out of recognition to a fantastic musician, background vocalist & friend ..... the bass player of Colorado's premier Bon Jovi tribute band SteeleHorse & our partner in crime ….. Mr. Don Miller Damond!

Don comes to Colorado as a native Minnesotan. Having played in a national band called Touched, he toured and recorded with a great bunch of musicians. He played in bands such as Fezziwig, The Folklords and played in front of bands such as Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, Tesla and Vince Neil. His coolest gig was playing at 1st Avenue, where Prince filmed Purple Rain.

As a bass player, he loves nothing more than to play rock! His hard playing style, Don is a sucker for a great bassline. Although never a huge Bon Jovi fan back in the day, he has come to really appreciate the artistic stylings of Alec John Such as he laid down some perfectly written basslines in the creative songwriting of John and Richie.

Don is an executive at a Casino in Black Hawk. If you ask Don what position, he simply says; "Have you seen the movie Casino? Robert DeNiro-that's me."

You can catch Don and the band this weekend November 16th, 2025 at The Rickhouse where SteeleHorse - The Legacy of Bon Jovi teams up with THE RETURN of POISON'D, a Poison tribute band along with special guest Cecelia!
